Established in 1952, Denton Boys Baseball, Inc. has been serving the youth in Denton for over 70 years! Our goal is to provide the best youth baseball program in our area. More importantly, we strive to instill the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, reverence and courage into the youth of our community, so they mature into strong, happy, healthy and responsible adults.
We are a non-profit 501(c) organization run by a board of volunteers. The board members work together to make your baseball experience as memorable as possible!
Fall baseball registration begins online on July 1. Details for registration are posted the beginning of June. The Fall league is a more instructional league, players move up to what would be their age division in the upcoming Spring season. The reasoning behind this is to give each player a better opportunity to "learn the ropes" prior to the player participating in their new age division the coming Spring season. The Fall League practices begin mid-August, games begin in September and run through the end of October. Ten games are scheduled, we guarantee 8. There is also an End of Season tournament for age divisions 7U-14U.Spring baseball registration begins online December 1. Details for registration are posted first of December. The league's Spring season is our more competitive season. Spring practices begin mid-February, games begin late March and run through May. (Please note due to rain sometimes the season can go into the first week of June) We schedule 10 games, guarantee 8, and there is an End of Season tournament for age divisions 7U-14U. 7U through High School division players participate in their age appropriate Coach Look (skill assessment) and are drafted to a team each season. Our goal is to spread the talent out as evenly as possible to allow the players to have a fun and competitive experience.
The player’s eligibility for a specific age division is attained by the player's age prior to May 1. For Spring season - age prior to May 1 of that current year. Fall season - age prior to May 1 of the next year.
Note: Fall baseball season is a developmental season to ready for upcoming Spring.
